Once received, the first available appointment will be sent to you via text message. Alternatively, please call our reception staff to identify a suitable time for an appointment.
What to bring?
Please bring any recent hospital discharge summaries or reports you have. If you have had X-Ray scans blood tests, or endoscopy tests, please let us know so we can make sure we have the results. We can access X-Rays from the Public Hospitals (Wollongong, Shellharbour and Nowra), and from these X-Ray companies: IRG, PRP, Wollongong Diagnostic, IMI/SMI and Derek Glenn Associates (Wollongong Private), just let us know if you have had X-Rays at one of these. All others we cannot access, and so it is best if you bring the X-Ray films in with you.
Can I bring a support person?
We have a number of seats in each consulting room, please feel welcome to bring relatives or support friends with you for your visit.
How long does an appointment last?
Each Appointment is about 15 minutes. We do our best to run on time or close to it, but occasionally we can run up to 30-45 minutes late. If you have an urgent following appointment please let us know when you check in at reception. There are magazines provided to read, many people bring a book and settle in!
What next?
If you need surgery or follow up X-Rays and blood tests, show the paperwork at reception as you leave so we can help coordinate booking the tests, and any follow up appointments afterwards.
